I am a Master’s student and joined the Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean in February 2026. Born and raised in WA, I’ve been lucky enough to grow up surrounded by Australia’s amazing marine ecosystems and so I completed my BSc in Marine Science at UWA. I am an avid freediver and amateur wildlife photographer. My research, in partnership with WA Fisheries (DPIRD), focuses on the sustainability of the WA deep-water crystal crab fishery and the significant knowledge gaps surrounding the structure of the unfished population. I have a passion for anything concerning the preservation of our oceans and hope to continue improving my capabilities as a marine scientist and conservationist.
