Study With Us

  • Undergraduate Majors

The Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean contributes to several undergraduate teaching units at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Study for a BSc in marine science, leading to either a single major BSc in Marine Biology, or an extended major BSc in Marine Science.

  • Honours & Master's Degrees

The Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean is part of the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) at the University of Western Australia. An honours or master’s degree will introduce you to the world of research through an independent but professionally supervised research project, in combination with advanced coursework.

  • PhD Opportunities

The Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean, under the leadership of Professor Dirk Zeller, is looking for highly motivated potential PhD candidates interested in conducting ‘big-data’ and meta-analysis research on fisheries and fisheries conservation issues at the ocean-basin and global scale.
